Qwen Image 2.1 on your Mac

ZImageApp runs Qwen-Image-2.1 locally on Mac using native Swift and MLX. Write a prompt to generate images, then use compatible editing LoRAs for Face Swap, Head Swap or Try On workflows. Your prompts and images are processed on your Mac.

Qwen Image 2.1 supports compatible 4, 6 and 8 step acceleration LoRAs and Qwen Control. CacheDiT is optional and off by default for Qwen. Start with the default settings, then compare quality and speed for your own model and device.

How to get started

Install ZImageApp on an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later.
Choose Qwen Image 2.1 and download or select a compatible MLX model package.
Enter a prompt; add a compatible acceleration or editing LoRA when needed.

Can I use Qwen Image 2.1 offline on Mac?

Yes. Once the app and required model files have been downloaded, image generation runs locally. Model downloads require a network connection.
