FLUX 3 on your Mac

ZImageApp v2.1.0 adds native Swift / MLX support for FLUX 3 on Mac. Choose FLUX in the app, download a compatible MLX package or select one you already have, then generate images without a separate local code checkout.

Settings → Models includes a FLUX model path. The native generation panel offers the supported model settings and optional FP16 Dense computation for supported layers. Dense mode can increase memory use; compare it with the default path on your Mac.

How to get started

Install ZImageApp v2.1.0 or later on Apple Silicon / macOS 15+.
Choose FLUX and download a compatible MLX model package, or configure its path in Settings → Models.
Enter your prompt and generate; try FP16 Dense if your available memory allows.

Do I need an external FLUX source folder to run the Mac app?

No. The distributed app includes its native inference code and resources. Model weights are downloaded or selected separately.
